Marketing and Social Media Internship

INTERNATIONAL CONCERTS has immediate openings for two  internship positions to begin immediately and continue to fall of 2018.  We are a not for profit  company that serves diverse cultures and presents foremost artists from countries that have large populations in the United States at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and other leading theaters. We have worked for twenty years to promote cross-cultural interests and also promote important emerging artists. We have presented artists from Russia, Georgia, Latin America, Spain, Iran, China, Italy, Armenia, and America.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in marketing and promotion
as  well as pr-production and production.  Responsibilities include Social Media marketing of our upcoming event at Carnegie Hall on July 18 with stars of he Metropolitan Opera, some data entry, helping to keep schedules for artists upon arrival in the U.S., researching and posting  relevant information of sites to promote public awareness of concert.  Following July 18, preparations begin for fall activities that require similar responsibilities.A wonderful learning experience that will help develop skills in marketing, promotion, research, production.
Interns must have excellent Social Media skills, familiarity with Photoshop, have good English speaking and writing skills, be prompt, efficient and reliable.
Interns are required to commit to at least 20 hours/week, or 3 full days ​or late morning – afternoon schedules ​in the office ​beginning immediately till at least August 31, maybe longer.
