Seeking student media makers for Breakthrough’s Action Lab

Breakthrough, a global human rights organization that works to make gender-based violence unacceptable, is now accepting applications for the first ever Action Lab. The Lab will convene media students to train in recognizing and dismantling social and cultural gender norms through the design and implementation of iconic disruptive action. Students will design these actions collaboratively, and then return to campus to use their expertise as media makers to stand up and take action.

The Action Lab will take place on July 20 + 21 in New York City, in partnership with New York University’s Department of Media, Culture, and Communication.
