Your President, Father McShane, has affiliated Fordham University with The Undergraduate Awards, and you are now part of that network of innovative universities, identifying and encouraging the best undergraduate research around the world. The Undergraduate Awards is the world’s largest academic awards program and is unique in that it is pan-discipline, with 25 different categories. Students submit their work for free online, and it is judged by an international panel of industry leaders and academic experts. Winning students are recognized as the best in their field, published in our academic journal and brought to Dublin for an exclusive networking event, the 4-day UA Global Summit.

We find that students are more likely to submit when recommended to do so by their faculty, so we urge you to alert your faculty to this opportunity for their best students. There are 25 different academic categories catering to students from every discipline.

Winning students benefit from the following:

1. The Recognition

Winners are recognized as a top student in their field globally against students from international universities around the world and their work is published in the The Undergraduate Journal. This Journal is sent to our affiliate universities around the world.

2. The Network

UA also recognizes the top 10% all entrants in each category. Winners and Highly Commended Entrants become members of the UA Alumni Network, an eclectic mix of world class minds.

3. The UA Global Summit

Overall Winners receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the UA Global Summit in Dublin to attend a four-day brainstorming and networking event with their counterparts from across the globe.
