Village Voice Cover Story by FCLC journalism major, Michael Appler

In the January 4 issue of the Village Voice, the cover story titled, “A Bernie Sanders Musical Takes the Revolution From Park Slope to Burlington,” was written by our own FCLC Journalism major, Michael Appler.

Michael Appler is a journalist, photographer, musician, and all around history-dork living and working in New York City. He’s also a current student at Fordham University, where he studies journalism and American Studies with a concentration in Cultural Products.

He has worked as a writer and research assistant at the New-York Historical Society and is currently a contributing feature writer at the Village Voice. In the coming months he will be starting as an intern and contributing writer for Vice News.
